Tess - 17 month old German Shepherd

We have had Tess since midnight the 6th of November 2005. She arrived on our doorstep and was determined not to be turned away. We knew to whom she belonged and that she constantly ran away. Everyone on our street had returned her home at least once. It was always a sad return with Tess cowering each time. So sad that one of the neighbors planned to take her to the pet refuge in the next county. We had not planned to add another dog to our lives, but she was so lovable.

After talking with the owner the next morning, we decided to keep her with the owner's blessing. I immediately called Roni. She helped us a few years earlier with a misbehaving Beagle. I did not expect her to drop everything and come to our aid, but she did.

Tess was what we affectionately called a Houdini dog.
No matter what kennel we used to house her while we were gone, she escaped it. Then she proceeded to remove our coffee pot from the burner and place it in the living room without breaking it. That is just one example of her many talents. Needless to say we had a lot of work to do. With Roni's help and training classes, Tess has become a welcomed addition to our family. She stays in her kennel for 4-6 hours without worry and has been left in the house alone and out of the kennel for 2 hours, no damage.

Tri-star training has addressed our real every day problems. We are more than satisfied with the results and very happy with our new addition.

Dear Roni,
  I am very grateful that I met you.  You have helped me and my family so much!  We were really heading in the wrong direction with where we were going with May May.  I personally am so glad we found you.  If it weren't for you, I might not even have a dog anymore; May and I might not have the great bond and trust we have today.  If it weren't for you, I might never, EVER have a chance, or know how to show dogs, but since I met you, I can have that chance.  It is a dream that I've had since I was 5 years old.  So, I just wanted to say thanks, thanks for everything.

Boots - 11 month old Bullmastiff

Roni impressed me the very first time I talked to her on the telephone.  We were having some problems "potty training" Boots and Roni talked to me a very long time, giving me many suggestions on how to help our dog.  I thought this was excellent since we had never met and she did not know if she would be training our dog at this time.

At our first meeeting, she spent a very long tie getting to know us and again giving me suggestions.  We have been raining with her about six weeks.  She has helped me deal with many issues with Boots, such as not being able to walk down our stairs and not jumping into our vehicle.  Roni seems to know what is in the dog's mind and is able to figure out the best way to deal with any problems.  She gives so much personal attention to everyone and has come to my house to help me with Boots.  Boots learned the basics very quickly with the collar.  We both love Roni and would highly recommend her for training any dog.
